Tried this place recently and really liked it! The food was flavorful and tasted fresh. The spices were just right, and the dishes had a nice authentic taste. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the overall quality and portion sizes. The staff was friendly and the service was good too. Definitely a nice spot for Indian food, and I’ll be coming back to try more items from the menu!

We have been coming to Pastries N Chaat multiple times, and honestly, every single time the food has been delicious! The best part is the consistency. No matter what we order, the food always tastes fresh, flavorful, and properly made. Over our visits, we have tried most of their menu and have so many favorites. Their Goat Dum Biryani is really good, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Apollo Fish is another favorite, and the Pepper Chicken is also very tasty with just the right amount of spice and flavor. For chaat, their Samosa Chaat is simply second to none! If you are a chaat lover, you definitely have to try it. The combination of flavors is just perfect, with the right balance of spicy, tangy, and sweet. It is one of the best samosa chaats we have had in San Antonio. And of course, we cannot forget the sweets! Their cold pastries are absolutely delicious. We also loved the Dil Khush and Dil Pasand. I strongly advise everyone to stop going to this PASTRIES AND CHAAT. The food they served was foul‑smelling and completely unacceptable — it genuinely smelled like a dead mouse. When I asked for a refund due to the unsafe and disgusting food, the manager didn’t just refuse to help; he became abusive and started shouting instead of addressing the issue professionally. No customer should ever be treated this way, and no business should serve food in such a condition. Their behavior was disrespectful, unhygienic, and dangerous. I will not be returning, and I urge others to avoid this place for their own safety.

If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in San Antonio, this place is a must-visit. The food is consistently extraordinary, full of flavor, and tastes just like home. On our latest visit, we ordered the Chicken Tandoori and Butter Chicken, and both were cooked to perfection. The tandoori was juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the butter chicken had a rich, creamy sauce with just the right balance of spices. The service is always warm, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Another big plus is the pricing—it’s very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, so you get excellent value for your money. My family and I are regular customers, and this is one of our favorite places for authentic Indian food in San Antonio. We always enjoy coming here because the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Our favorites are the goat biryani, chicken dum biryani, and red chicken. We also love their Indian snacks and street food, especially the samosas, veg puffs, pani puri, dahi batata puri, dosas, and chai. Everything we've tried has been excellent. The restaurant is always clean, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that makes dining here enjoyable. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent customer service. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Indian food. We'll definitely continue coming back. This restaurant is absolutely a hidden gem!
